Resumo

O presente artigo apresenta-se como um exercício de análise sobre os conceitos de “vida” e “morte”, nos planos divino e humano. Para o efeito, desconstroem-se certas afirmações generalistas e promove-se a instauração da dúvida construtiva. Tomando por base excertos de autores da Antiguidade, colocam-se em causa binómios, como imortalidade divina versus mortalidade humana, vida/bem limitado versus morte/fim/mal. Nessa sequência, questiona-se a concepção da superioridade divina, porque teo ricamente imortal, face à raça humana.
